Bushwalking

"I really need to do some exercise" "I've always wanted to learn French"

A good way to combine both is FASS Bushwalking. And what a beautiful way to discover discover Australia's biggests treasures

Come and walk with us

The next walk will be Forest Path as it supposed to have been done on the 19th of January, but with some weather issues we had to postpone it.

When: Sunday the 03rd of March at 10 AM

Description: The walk will take us in the middle of the rain forest from the South End of Lady Carrington Drive and it will be a loop as we will finish the walk near the starting point. Some part of the walk are a little bit narrow, but the view is very nice.

Duration: The walk is quite short about 1h30

Degree of difficulty: Easy. May be a bit muddy and slippery after all the recent rain. The return is a bit of an incline for a while.

Where to meet: We will meet at the car park where the entrance of the walk will be at the southern end of Lady Caringhton Drive.

How to get there: Turn off the highway at Waterfall and enter the park down McKell Avenue. Turn left at the bridge and the carpark is a bit less than a kilometre on the left.

What to bring: Water, suncream, hat and walking shoes and insect repellent which leeches don't like either.

Please note that FASS has now a Public Liability Insurance cover, but please continue to prepare carefully for all our walks and take your own precautions while walking.

Could you please let us know by email if you will be able to join? I will send a reminder few days before.
